Winchester (from the west side of the city center). King Alfred stands protecting the city. Alfred the Great (as the they call him), was the King of Wessex from 871-899. He defeated the Vikings against the kingdoms of Southern England. Their history is crazy old here!!! Look at this stunning sunset. This is just down the street from Bishop on the Bridge.
